Stop bad
inventory
before it ships

Greenlist shows routing, hard stops and critically unknown fields per SKU — before the PO. So you don't tie up capital in goods you can't list.

We confirm nothing. We don't approve products — we expose what can block them before the PO. No conformity, no lab testing, no legal advice.

Why now

The marketplace floor
is being raised

Four shifts hit DACH/EU importers in 2025/26 at once. Whoever checks only after delivery pays twice: once for the goods, once for the delisting.

Hard dates.
A narrow window.
13.12.24
GPSR in force — Responsible Person + documentation per SKU
01.08.25
RED cybersecurity mandatory for affected radio equipment — EN 18031 supports the conformity proof
06.08.26
REACH formaldehyde restriction (EU 2023/1464) applies to articles & furniture
How it works

Three steps
Before the PO, not after

1

Product in

SKU, category, key data. Optionally the supplier's tech pack / datasheet. Even incomplete — that's exactly when it pays off.

Input
2

Engine routes & checks

Legal-framework routing, norm stacking, hard stops. Whatever is unknown gets flagged as a Critical Unknown — not guessed away.

Rule Engine
3

Supplier evidence pack

Concrete questions your supplier has to answer before you place the PO. Evidence to resolve — or reasons not to order yet.

Why Greenlist
Consultants are expensive and slow. RP services only hold the representation. Greenlist sits before all of it.
TÜV / compliance consultants — hundreds to thousands of € per case, weeks of lead time.
RP service providers — they hold the representation, but you still supply the documentation, and cost climbs fast at portfolio scale.
Marketplace compliance portals — they collect evidence, but rarely tell you what's missing before you import.
Greenlist — per SKU, in minutes, before the import. Finds the gap before you tie up money.

Mirko Ziegert
Founder · famosMedia Technologies Ltd.

Computer scientist and integration architect at the intersection of compliance, APIs and automation. Greenlist turns that systems work into a tool importers use before they buy — not once the container is on its way. Built by software people, validated with product-safety expertise: a rule and evidence engine, not a notified body.

Cost of a miss

One missed hard stop —
the whole container

Each of these is a single unchecked hard stop. Any one of them can trigger the full cost stack — long after your money has left the account.

FAQ

Questions before
the purchase order

01What does Greenlist actually do?+
Greenlist is a pre-import compliance risk radar. For each product (SKU) it routes the item through the relevant EU legal frameworks — GPSR, REACH, RED and the textile regulation — stacks the applicable norms, flags hard stops and critical unknowns, and produces a supplier evidence request you send before placing the purchase order.
02Who is Greenlist for?+
Importers, private-label brands and sourcing agencies selling on EU marketplaces such as Amazon. It's built for portfolios from roughly 50 to 2,000+ SKUs — not for 3-SKU dropshipping.
03Does Greenlist confirm that my product is CE-compliant?+
No. Greenlist does not confirm conformity, perform lab testing or give legal advice. It identifies the regulatory test path, documentation gaps and formal evidence risks so you know exactly what to clarify with your supplier. Accredited testing and a notified body remain separate steps.
04Why does checking before the purchase order matter?+
Because checking only after delivery means you pay twice — once for the goods, once for the delisting. The EU floor is rising in sequence: GPSR in force since 13.12.2024, RED cybersecurity (EN 18031) mandatory from 01.08.2025, and the REACH formaldehyde restriction (EU 2023/1464) applying from 06.08.2026. Marketplaces are already delisting non-compliant ASINs.
05How is Greenlist different from a compliance consultant or an RP service?+
Consultants cost hundreds to thousands of euros per case with weeks of lead time. RP service providers typically charge €400–500 per product and still expect you to supply the documentation. Greenlist sits before all of that — per SKU, in minutes, before the import — and finds the gap before you tie up capital.
06Is the output just AI guesswork?+
No. Greenlist is deterministic: a curated, versioned norms database and rule engine decide the routing and hard stops. AI only phrases the output. Anything unknown is flagged as a critical unknown rather than guessed away.
07What does Greenlist cost?+
A single Quick Risk Check is €99 per product, a Deep Gap Check €299 per product, and Portfolio Watch monitoring starts at €799 per month (agency and importer plans from €2,500). A check costs less than a container.
08What do I get back?+
A 5-status go/no-go read per SKU — from no obvious blocker to human escalation — plus the concrete questions your supplier has to answer before you place the PO. Listable goods, or none.
